Nursing is an applied health profession, which contains art, aesthetics, interventions and health sciences. In modern nursing, family-centred care is the essential. The nurse holistically evaluates the patients with their family. Nurses look after not only patients and their family as in the past but also they look after individuals all ages, families, groups and communities, sick or well in all settings in current days with given more attention to health promotion and improving quality of life. Nurses interest not only physically health but also psychologically and socially health. They use systematics solving problem methods which contain defining problem, planning interventions, applying and evaluation when their practice on focused 4 main concepts related to nursing: Human (1); sickness/wellness (2); environment (3); and nursing.
The Bachelor’s Degree Program of the Nursing Department is a 240 ECTS credits program of 4 years composed of eight semesters, each with a 30 ECTS workload. One ECTS is equal to 25.5 hours of student workload per semester.
