How to Apply

Before you follow our application process, please make sure you have first selected your program which you would like to study.

  7. Submit your application and supporting documents through the online application system.
  8. Receive your Conditional Acceptance Letter.
  9. Accept and pay for your offer. Note the expiry date for acceptance.
  10. How to Pay information
  11. Receive your Acceptance Letter.
  12. Apply for your visa.
  13. Book your flights. Inform CSU about your arrival details via e-mail.
  14. Travel to North Cyprus and attend your CSU International Orientation.

Required Documents for Application

Before you follow our application process, please make sure you have first selected your program which you would like to study. Prepare your supporting documents before starting your online application.

Original Documents
If you are unable to provide valid original documents at registration, you may not be permitted to register as a student of the University.

Undergraduate

Applications to the undergraduate programs are accepted twice a year.

Documents Required for Undergraduate Application :

  1. Original copy of your High School transcript
  2. Original copy of your High School diploma
  3. NECO/WAEC, SAT, IGSCE (if necessary)
  4. Original copy of any English/Turkish proficiency exam scores
  5. Passport
  6. One passport-sized photograph

(*) In the case that original documents are not in English, notarized translations must be provided.

Graduate

Graduate applications are evaluated by an academic committee. Therefore please be aware that it takes up to 15 working days for the results.

Make sure you have the following documents:

  • Transcripts (including the grading system of institution)
  • Undergraduate diploma (minimum Cumulative GPA of 2.25/4.00, or an official transcript to demonstrate an equivalent general performance)
  • English language proficiency test results (either TOEFL for Master's or YDS for Turkish applicants)
  • A passport photocopy
  • One passport-sized photograph
  • Two reference letters
  • Letter of Intent in English (A letter clearly stating the purpose for the application)

(*) In the case that original documents are not in English, notarized translations must be provided.

Transferring from another university

Transfer student applications or associate degree holders.

Students who hold an Associate Degree or a National Diploma can apply as a transfer student to the Bachelor Degree programs.

The requirements for transfer applications to the CSU are as follows.

  • Transfer applications should be to the 2nd, 3rd, 4th or 5th semesters. Associate Degree or National Diploma holders generally start from the 5th semester.
  • The student should not have been dismissed from a University,
  • All required modules should have been completed from previous classes.
  • CGPA should be minimum 2.00 out of 4.00 or the equivalent.
    Requested Documents
  • Photocopies of Higher Secondary School Certificate / Diploma and Associate Degree or a National Diploma
  • Academic record / mark sheets (transcript)
  • Short course descriptions
  • A passport photocopy
  • One passport-sized photograph

Minimum Eligibility Scores and Grades

The criteria outlined above are determined by the Ministry of National Education and Culture of Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.

Students who are in their senior year at high school or who graduated from high school and who satisfy at least one of the below criteria may apply as international students.

Language Entry Requirements

For English degree program applicants:

TOEFL score 75
IELTS score 6.0
If students do not have TOEFL/IELTS then he/ she has to take an English Proficiency Exam.

For Turkish degree program applicants: TOMER B1 level is required.

Key Dates
